August 30, 2017, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie appeared on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” and was very critical of Texas Senator Ted Cruz, a fellow Republican.
I found Christie’s comments to be strange. Why now…and, why did he appear on MSNBC? After all, this was the network dedicated to reporting on the “Bridgegate” scandal that dogged the New Jersey governor for months.
Additionally, Christie happens to be at the end of his term-limited run as governor of the “Garden State” and suffers from low approval ratings. So, why, why, why did the beleaguered politician surface on MSNBC, a network very critical of the governor’s Independence Day Weekend beach closing stunt.
Why is Christie suddenly making himself available for television interviews?
