As a baby boomer, I am constantly stunned to see just how kids growing up in 2017 are not experiencing the world around them.
From video games to virtual reality and helicopter parenting, children are bubble-wrapped at an early age. As such, I believe the next generation will be ill prepared for the world they will face.
Apparently, I am not alone. A recent survey sponsored by the Unilever company revealed prisoners in maximum security facilities spend more time outdoors each day than the average child (5-12 years old).
