Both CBS and NBC reported on news of former Democratic Congressman Anthony Weiner being sentenced to serve 21 months in prison after being convicted of a crime for sexting with an underage girl.
Mike noticed something kind of important missing from the coverage of Weiner’s sentencing…any reference to the disgraced congressman’s political party.
Weiner isn’t the only democrat to be given cover by the mainstream media. New Orleans mayoral candidate and democrat, Frank Scurlock was arrested and charged with lewd behavior in public when his Uber driver claimed she caught him masturbating in the back seat of her car.
The incident happened in February. Charges were recently just brought against the candidate due to confusion over which jurisdiction would handle the prosecution.
for the record, Mr. Scurlock has proclaimed his innocence and expects to be exonerated following his arraignment in October, just two days after the New Orleans mayoral primary.
